A new tradition in high school football began last year; a bowl game to start the season between two Iowa teams. When I was approached to take on marketing for this annual event, I was thrilled to say the least! A logo was developed, the client chose their favorite from three original concepts and we were ready to start promoting. A memorable direct mail piece "popped" out of the mailboxes of Iowa athletic directors all across Iowa. The informative website displayed bold graphics to compliment the Channel Seed sponsor's colors, and the Ag Bowl logo was strategically placed everywhere from shirts to the winners trophy.
